There are two types of Engage funding: Engage Grants and Engage Simply CREST. The funding is to help schools in challenging circumstances run CREST Awards with young people from backgrounds underrepresented in STEM. 

You can apply for up to £350 of grant money plus a voucher to cover £350 of CREST Award fees.

Engage funding will open for applications in September 2025.

We run exclusive projects and partnership offers for the Engage community throughout the academic year to help teachers inspire young people who are underrepresented in STEM.

This includes CREST Kit Boxes, which contains all the equipment and resources a teacher needs to run eight Star or SuperStar activities for every member of their class earn a CREST Award and certificate.

Do you want to talk directly to another teacher about CREST? Get peer support from another educator who has experience delivering CREST, by reaching out an Engage Buddy for one-on-one support.
